what feedi is
a feedback widget for solo and small-team saas builders. one script tag in your site, pick when to ask users stuff, and every friday you get an ai summary of the week's responses. themes, counts, the quotes that gave them away.
why i built it
every side project i shipped had the same problem. feedback came in through twitter dms, support email, a discord i half-maintained, and a notion doc i never opened. by month 3 i had 80 quotes scattered everywhere and zero idea what people actually wanted.
the existing tools didn't fit. canny and featurebase are built for product teams with enough users to vote on roadmaps. hotjar and userpilot are priced for series b companies. typeform is for one-off surveys. i wanted something dead simple: a script tag, a few smart prompts in-app, and someone to read all the raw responses and tell me the four things that matter this week.
how it works
- install: paste one `` tag in your site. no sdk, no build step.
- ask: pick the moment to ask users for feedback (after signup, on pricing, before exit, custom triggers).
- collect: responses come into one dashboard, categorized by sentiment and theme.
- read: every friday, an ai summary lands in your inbox. themes, counts, top quotes.
- act: vote on requests, sync with github to close the loop without leaving your editor.
